Baiba Strupisa


From an inhouse lawyer to a supervisory board member of a bank, from partnership in a law office to the practice of business settlements negotiation and executives coaching in her company Troubleshooter. Success in changing Latvian laws in Constitutional Court. None of Baiba’s negotiations have ended in a court.

Baiba is the Chief Examinator of certified mediators in Latvia. For 25 years Baiba has been active in development of commercial and corporate legislation and the best practice in Latvia, being one of the authors of Latvian Commercial Law, Latvian Commercial Pledge Law and the new Corporate Governance Code binding to the banks and NASDAQ – listed companies. Six years Baiba has served as a Co-Chair of a Tax Policy and Administration Work Group at the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia (a top-repute NGO in Latvia having yearly High Council meetings with the Government of Latvia).
