Rio de Janeiro. What a destination for our 61st Annual Congress! The South American continent and Brazil’s most vibrant and colourful city epitomise the values at the heart of our association.
And the theme of this congress will be: “Re-thinking the law in four dimensions – a think-tank to predict challenges that clients will face and identify legal solutions to meet them.”
Our dedicated Academic Coordinators, Anouk Rosielle, Sophie Lens, Paulo Nasser, Armando Perna and our dedicated Commissions, AIJA’s backbone, are working hard to develop a high standard and innovative academic programme, against the backdrop of the theme “re-thinking the law in four dimensions”– relevant to our clients and our legal practices as international lawyers.
Our passionate Organising Committee, Arthur Stüssi Neves, Bruno Guarnieri, Felipe Katz, Karen Ruback, Ricardo Gama, Helen Valente, Fernanda Levy, Fernanda Machado, Luana Muniz de Barros, Marcelo Rhenius, José Maurício Carvalho Abreu, Leopoldo Pagotto, Hugo Teixeira, José Miguel Algorta, Clara Poglia, Duncan Grieve, Fernanda Pacheco, has chosen a beautiful hotel on the world-famous Copacabana beach to host an unforgettable 5 days of learning and networking experience. The social programme will take us to a variety of Rio’s landmarks to showcase the heart and soul of this vibrant city.
The COVID-19 turmoil of the past is (hopefully) over. It is time to focus on AIJA’s core values – bringing people from all over the world together. So, join us to embrace the AIJA spirit in Rio!
