Paola has 15 years experience as a litigator at an international law firm in London and Geneva and 3 years as a legal adviser for the U.K. Government at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Honorary President of AIJA – the International Association of Young Lawyers and Co-founder of the AIJA Women Network.

Over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Judge of the Court of Justice of São Paulo since 2012, besides being a professor, speaker and author.
Enthusiastic about technological innovations and their repercussions, which is an area that she has studied and performed on since the beginning of her career in law, in 2000. Since 2018, she has participated in a series of events about blockchain, as a speaker, professor or panelist, such as Barcelona Blockchain Week, Paris Blockchain Summit, LMA Summit, Court of Justice of Santa Catarina, São Paulo School of Magistracy, Federal Revenue, Getulio Vargas Foundation – SP, INSPER, among others.
Master of Laws by CEDES, specialist in Civil Procedural Law by the Federal University of Santa Catarina and specialist in Tax Law by the University of Vale do Itajaí.
She was a professor in the Law and Computer Information Systems courses at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, University of South Santa Catarina and Metropolitan College of Blumenau, and in the specialization of Civil Procedural Law at the University Center of North.

Lucia is Head of Community Engagement at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, based in London. She leads on initiatives that support leaders, countries and communities to make progress through technology. Lucia is a co-founder of Women in Tech Policy, a global network that celebrates diversity in tech and policymaking by regularly convening women around the world on technology’s potential to improve our society and their role in fulfilling this potential.
Prior to the Institute, Lucia led brand and reputation projects for EMEA at Google and held several in-house and agency digital communications roles.
